Earlier this year John Minter and his team did some building work for us. It came in 2 phases. The first was a replacement of a 16 foot 2nd floor lintel that was bowing badly. John's team did the work in 4 days in freezing conditions. His team were always cheerful, helpful and kept us fully informed. You cannot see the work that was done and we were very pleasantly surprised with the repair work they also completed inside; namely replastering and adjusting the long window to fit correctly.
The second phase was the removal of 25 metres of old fencing, overgrown trees and damaged low wall to replace with a very neat and pleasant looking 6ft wall around our property. This took considerably longer, 3 weeks, and was made more difficult by the house and wall being on a hill. What convinced us that John's team are extremely professional is that they removed some wall they had built because it was 'out' by a few millimetres over a 3 metre section! We couldn't tell but John and Pete weren't prepared to let their standards drop.
Overall, we were very happy with our dealings with John Minter; they kept to the agreed price, completed the work on time, tidied up well and, we believe, did a very good job.

My wife and I are delighted with the finished extension and we would like to thank you for the way JV Minter carried out all the work. We know that the foundations are much deeper than the original house but I think that the quality of the extension is higher in many other respects, for example the roof timbers. Several neighbours have commented on how well the extension fits with the house, particularly with the brickwork and roof.
Being retired and a DIY enthusiast I was very much involved in the day to day progress during the construction but your staff never complained and all were very courteous and helpful. I shall be grateful if you will pass our thanks onto them.

The firm of JV Minter recently carried out the conversion of my garage to a workroom/study. The workforce were all were all hardworking, professional and polite, leaving the site clean and tidy at the end of each day.
